Golden Fields is an expansive kinetic installation spanning 200 square metres of shoreline.

Forty-nine tall, straw-coloured blades rise from the sand, forming a precise geometric field of gold against the ocean. Each blade is engineered to respond to the surrounding environment, creating a collective slow, shimmering motion and subtle sound that invites extended consideration and quiet reflection.

Drawing on the language of coastal grasses, country crops, and desert gold, Golden Fields translates these natural forms into a large-scale sculptural experience. The work establishes a meditative threshold between land and sea, encouraging visitors to walk among the blades, observe the shifting alignments, and experience the site from within the field itself.

At dusk, the sculpture takes on a gentle bioluminescent glow.
